You may not recognize the name, or be able to find a WTA world ranking, but the chances are that you've watched Elaine Brady perform on a tennis court on quite a few occasions. It's when the umpire calls a medical time out that she comes into her own, as a WTA tour physio.
With a degree in physiotherapy and a masters in orthopedic medicine, she has just six minutes to work her magic and patch up a player and allow her to carry on with that match. So, the next time you're watching a tournament, watch out for Elaine. Of course, like all of us, she'll be happy if not required!
